Product Description
DST-810 Depth/Speed/Temp Sensor. Plastic thru-hull housing.
Product Description:
The Simrad DST-810 sensor is an advanced, multifunction thru-hull transducer made of plastic for marine environments. The device integrates three key functions: depth measurement, speed through water, and water temperature, also offering heel/trim measurement, making it especially attractive for racing sailors and serious recreational users. The new generation sensor features an ultra-sensitive, improved Gen2 Paddlewheel rotor and wireless calibration and configuration via the CAST app using Bluetooth Low Energy. The sensor provides fast and linear speed readings starting from 0.3 knots, smooth indications up to 45 knots, and high temperature measurement accuracy. Thru-hull mounting and waterproof housing ensure stable measurement and long-term reliability.
Technical Specifications:
Depth measurement range: from 0.5 m to 100 m (per NMEA 2000)

Additional Information:
Maintenance: Regular cleaning of the rotor (Gen2 Paddlewheel) and use of the service blanking plug prevent fouling and maintain measurement accuracy. The blanking plug is often included, allowing safe closure of the hole after sensor removal during cleaning or downtime.
Accessories: Additional cables, NMEA 2000 adapters, mounting tools, and the CAST app for Bluetooth speed calibration are available for the device.
Advantages:
Bluetooth calibration via smartphone – quick and intuitive operation without sensor removal. Highest speed measurement sensitivity from very low values (from 0.3 knots), especially dedicated to sailors. Integrated accelerometer allows real-time recording of boat heel (heel/trim). NMEA 2000 standard – full compatibility with most navigation systems and electronic displays. The DST-810 sensor is a versatile tool for anyone expecting precise navigation data, advanced calibration options, and seamless integration with Simrad and other manufacturers' systems.
